The Raffle is Open to All!
In addition to the auction, we will be holding a raffle at Detroit Rock City Live! Tickets will be $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. Links to the descriptions and photos are listed below. We had so many items that we decided to divide them into pages of ten for easier and faster uploading. Be sure to check out all of the pages because we have some great items! If you are unable to attend or live outside of the area, check out details below for purchasing tickets.

All proceeds will be donated to the Secretariat Foundation which supports various causes within the Thoroughbred racing community such as: veterinary research; Thoroughbred retirement and rehabilitation facilities; higher education scholarship in equine-related fields of study; therapeutic equestrian programs; and general funding for related established programs. And, Wildlife Warriors in memory of its founder, Steve Irwin.
The raffle drawing will take place after lunch at the show on May 16, 2008. Tickets will be available for entrants until the drawing on the day of the show. For those unable to attend, tickets may be purchased by proxy through mail or Paypal no later than 9:00 PM EST on Friday, May 16, 2008.
Paypal purchases should be made to the following account: bootimer@glis.net. Those making Paypal or mail order purchases should include their name, address and phone number with their payment. Checks or money orders should be made payable to Denise Olejniczak and mailed to Detroit Rock City Live!, Anne & Denise Olejniczak, P. O. Box 327, Romeo, Michigan 48065.
Please Note: The Secretariat Foundation and Wildlife Warriors are non-profit organizations and your ticket purchases would be considered a donation and would be tax-deductible. Therefore, those paying by check or money order have the option to make them payable to: The Secretariat Foundation. If you decide to use this option, still mail the check and ticket request to Detroit Rock City Live!, Anne & Denise Olejniczak, P. O. Box 327, Romeo, Michigan 48065.
Please indicate the number of the raffle item or items on which you wish your tickets placed. If there are multiple items you wish to apply tickets to, please let us know the number of tickets designated for each prize. Winners do not have to be present at the time of the drawing, but will be responsible for the actual cost of shipping (United States or International).
We are always looking for raffle donations. Through the generosity of our exhibitors and other supporters, we were able to donate $2212.85 to our charities after our 2007 Show. Those donating items with a value more than $25 prior to the closing date for entries will receive a free full page ad in our show catalog.
A Note to Ticket Purchasers: All non-winning tickets will be placed in a large second chance bin. After the regular auction, we have a number of prizes of varying value which will be awarded to those whose tickets are chosen in the Second Chance Raffle. So, the more tickets you purchase, the better chance you have of winning a prize.
